Good scope, Terrible place to buy it from,

I ordered this scope over a month ago, at the time it was the last one in stock. When i received it it was supposed to arrive in 2 boxes, one containing the base and the other containing the mirror/truss assembly. Sadly Amazon only managed to ship me "Box 2 of 2" containing just the base. Since that time I've been trying to get through their customer service to get them to understand that there was supposed to be a second box. It ended in a compromise that there were "Parts missing" and i returned it with the promise of a new one being next day shipped to me. That was 3 weeks ago, and no word on where the new one is. I gave what I've been led to understand is a reasonable star rating for the scope, but since i have yet to actually SEE it, i cant say much for the quality beyond that the base is made from particle board. Which i suppose is to be expected, since what really matters is optics quality.
Long story short, beware of getting the last one in stock. As a side note, the box i did receive looked distinctly like it had been shipped to someone else before me, then returned, and shipped to me. |
