Although inexpensive for this focal length and field of view, the 36mm QX eyepiece, when used on f/8 and slower refractors, is almost as good as eyepieces costing 5 times as much. Furthermore, it has better eyerelief than most eyepieces, so it is particularly well suited for people who need to wear spectacles when observing.
