Received for fathers day. Never had a telescope before although I have thought about getting one. Really clear with 3/4 moon giving some dramatic shadows around the craters. Saw a planet that appeared to have two rings around it. Don't know enough astronomy to identify this but will soon. Even with a lot of neighborhood lighting and the street lights my wife and I were quite impressed. I haven't used the fine slo-mo adjustment yet. Typically I began using it before I read all the instructions but am ready for the next clear night to try again. Wish I could hook this up to a digital camera.

I bought ths telescope as a gift for my 6 year old nephew. He absolutely loves it. He can't wait until it gets dark outside so that he can see all of the stars. The telescope is clear and comes with several lenses. You can also buy accessories for the telescope. I would highly recommend this for any first time user.

Great telescope for serching the stars. Got it to use for an astronmy class. The teacher thought it was a great telescope. It is a great telescope for the beginner.

I would give this telescope 1000000000000000 stars. The price. THe quality. This telescope kiks. When I looked into it I saw about dozens nebulaes and a few comets. I saw what apeared to be the tad pole galaxy, and andromeda. I saw every single planet and their moons except for pluto's, mercury's. venus's, and a few of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. This telescope is the perfect telescope for people ranging from beginners to pros. Awesome!

We got this telescope for my mom as a Christmas present.She likes it very much,except for two things:It was a little hard to put together,and she has a hard time focusing on an object without the telescope moving around.We don't know if that's her or the telescope (she's still playing with it).

A GOOD TELESCOPE. I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE MOON CRATERS AND ALL THE PLANETS AS FAR AS PLUTO. GOOD JOB MEADE.

Gave this item as a gift to my father in law. He loves it. Easy to operate, especially for the beginner. He did have some issues with its initial set up, needed some assistance, but now he says it works great. Well worth the money spent.

I purchsed this telescope for my parents to use at their lake home and the optical quality is fantastic, especially for an inexpensive, starter telescope. They've mostly used it to look at nature (eagles, etc.) and boats on the lake and they can get close enough to see what they are catching! Haven't used it to find stars yet, but Im sure it works great.
