We purchased this telescope as a starter for our 10 year old son. It is easy to operate for him and us. He was so excited to see a close up view of the moon. It took only a few minutes to assemble, no difficulty there. I would highly recommend this telescope to anyone.

This was a birthday gift for my 7 year old son but the entire family has enjoyed using it this summer. Simple to set up and use.

My 12-yr. old grandson is always amazed at the stars in the sky at night, and loves science, so I thought a perfect Christmas gift for him would be a telescope. Well, he was so excited when he got it Christmas day, he put it together (with a little help from Dad), and has been star-gazing since. He's even shown me a couple of constellations. Nice product.
