If you want to do long exposures (over 5 minutes) in Alt/Az mode without a wedge, you can correct for field rotation (which results from the scope not rotating on the same axis that the earth does) with Meade’s Field De-Rotator. Attaches to the rear cell of your scope to precisely counter the effects of Alt/Az-induced field rotation.
