7x50 is about an ideal size for low light binoculars.
These will work very well, for astronomy purposes.

I paid 30 dollars, with free shipping, here at Amazon.

I do not think you can beat the price, considering premium Fujinon? brand 7x50 binoculars, sell for over 10 times that price. (Even medium level quality 7x50 binoculars, cost around 200 dollars.)

They may not have fully multicoated optics, and may not be water proof, but at only 30 dollars, they are an excellent deal.
