This video documents the specialized cold weather training Marines receive at the Mountain Warfare Training Center. Includes a 1950s Korean War era film produced by the Marine Corps when the base was better known as Pickel Meadows (and also spelled Pickle Meadows). Also includes film footage from the early 1960s when Marines were sent there for survival training. The third film on this video documents the base in the 1980s.
