Best Blues Since Stevie Ray..., November 19, 2009
There ain't a bad song on this disc. I especially like track 7, "Guess Who". Reminds me of Elvis. The first 90 seconds is good on it's own and then the guitars kick in and although not a fast song, the song really kicks... as do all the tracks! [Note: the clip posted is from the early part of the song. You really need to hear the rest of it to appreciate what I am saying.]
Mean Gene Kelton & The Die Hards should be number one on the national blues charts. I think they are the best blues act since Stevie Ray. Wish they would come to the NorthEast. How about it Mean Gene... The Pocono Blues Festival maybe?
If you like the blues, you won't be disappointed.
