A new direction for a 60 year long performer's career that is top class. Deserves to be a massive hit but needs promotion as any record does.

This has to be the best foot stompin, head boppin, pointless song ever made. It's really fun to listen too, the voice and music are perfectly matched to lift any bad mood.

"If i look like a voodoo doll that's what i am" The man is in his 70's, and he is still rockin !!! Best free song i have ever got..thanx amazon..will buy the cd whenever it comes out...

"Mean Old Man," the new single from Jerry Lee Lewis, takes the source material from Kris Kristofferson and gives it the shambling, rocking country workout it deserves. The arrangement's loose and fun, and while Jerry Lee's voice has developed a tremble here and there, it fits the song perfectly. This is no transformative reworking of another's material, like Johnny Cash's "Hurt," but rather a rockin' statement of defiance from a guy who many figured wouldn't make it to his age.

Jerry Lee Lewis is a old man, a mean old man who still rocks with the best of them. This country themed rocker proves Jerry Lee is still a vital and interesting artist. Tough and defiant Jerry Lee Lewis is still one of the best rock and rollers ever.

It has been said that Jerry Lee Lewis' next album released will be a county album... This song is a great new single from The Killer, JLL... Although he is know for rocking the stage, Jerry Lee Lewis has actually had more number one country hits than rock'n'roll hits. Whether it be counrty, or rock'n'roll, it will be exciting as long as Jerry Lee Lewis is the main part of the songs... Rock On, Jerry Lee... and play a little country tune in there too, if you care too... As always... "The Killer Rocks On!!!" even if his new album is a country one!!!!!
