I love this audiobook. I teach fourth grade and I play this cd for them every year. They love it. Then I have them draw their version of mean pumpkin.

Mean Pumpkin is a well crafted children's story with songs and sound effects. I have given this to several children and adults who have thoroughly enjoyed it. The songs have catchy melodies which children love to sing along with. The narrative voice is warm and humorous. The story has a pro-social message without being preachy. This is an cd that works year-round not just at Halloween. Highly recommended!

I am the author of this AudioBook. It is 12 minutes in duration and includes four original songs, plus incidental music, character voices, and over 80 sound effects, most of which I created myself. The story is about a Mean, Selfish Pumpkin and how he changes for the better.

I spent a six years working in elementary school music education, teaching Rhythm, Singing and Percussion at over a half dozen Santa Barbara area schools, having a great time (but not making much money).

I also am a published author of a number of Science Fiction short stories, and a published composer of film and television music.
