After reading this book, I felt empowered. Calvin Hall's method of dream analysis is absolutely awesome. He takes a series of dreams from one person and puts them in a logical order that shows progression in the dreamer's thoughts; starting from "surface dreams" and moving to more complex, symbolic dreams. His method is very comprehensive and after reading his analysis of a dream, I'll read the dream again and think "wow - the dream just seems to spill out that message." He's also very insightful about the nature of human conflicts: Sex and agression, Freedom vs Insecurity, and Life vs Death. Absolutely fascinating.
