The product made me break out horribly. I purchased it directly from Meaningful Beauty / Guthy-Renker and tried it for a few months and finally decided it wasn't working so I sent the third shipment back to them. However, unfortunately it appears to be common practice for them to not refund and try to make you jump through hoops when you return it! I was told it would take 4 - 6 weeks for the credit. In the meantime they continued charging me. After 6 weeks and no credit I called back and they claimed they never received my return shipment - after doing some research this appears to be their standard! I had the UPS tracking number, confirmed delivery receipt via UPS online, but that wasn't good enough...they said they had to send me an affidavit VIA SNAIL MAIL (A LEGAL DOCUMENT THEY CANNOT EMAIL - really!?!?) and in order to get credit I would have to sign and return it. Obviously they are just hoping that the customer will give up. After much arguing and NO cooperation from the customer service rep, I talked to a supervisor who finally promised he would refund - let's see. I think this is a horrible company and would not recommend buying anything from them - even if the product was good, which it isn't.

I called to order a Meaningful Beauty kit one morning b/c I wanted to try this skin care system out. Hey, Cindy Crawford endorses it, other celebrities were raving about how wonderful it is, and it was pretty affordable, so why not, right? WRONG!!!!!! A few minutes later I texted a friend of mine to ask her if she had ever used this product before and what she thought of it. She said that she used it years ago but that nothing really stood out in her mind about it. But she said the main thing is that it is VERY difficult to cancel an order and to be careful b/c they may start billing me monthly for this product. I was taken back b/c on the Meaningful Beauty website there are all kinds of claims that you can cancel at any time if you're not satisfied. So, I call the customer service line to make sure that my online order was just a one-time order for one kit. She explained to me that ordering online was signing me up for a club membership and that my credit card would be billed monthly. She even told me that before I submitted my order I was told about the charges by clicking on the "terms & agreement" box. Ok, first of all, NO ONE reads the entire small print of the terms and agreement. The only thing I read was that I agreed to let them charge my credit card for the payment and that's it. But to be fair, I should have read more or researched more before I made an online order. So, to recap, the infomercials tell you that you can have the system for $39.95, but what they fail to tell you is that you HAVE to be a club member to get it at that rate. And to be a club member you have to sign up for monthly kits. Very deceitful upfront, don't you think?Read more ›

You know those products that you read about which make some amazing claims regarding what they'll do for you, and with great skepticism you buy the product, and then are pleasantly surprised to find the claims are true? Well, this isn't one of them.

I've been using the Meaningful Beauty products for a while now, and while they haven't harmed my skin, I'm not seeing much benefit either. The magic melon juice or whatever it is, might be helping Cindy Crawford, but I suspect her beauty comes more from good genes, a healthy lifestyle, and maybe a nip tuck doctor or some clever photoshopping. Maybe not, maybe these products are greatly helping Cindy look the way she does, but if so, well that's not fair. I certainly need the help more than she does, and that's not happening.

So, not recommending these products, save your money and try a good loofa followed by some vaseline if you want soft skin.

I'm 51 years old, brunette ... and have tried many different brands throughout the years, NONE with the horrific results that Meaningful Beauty caused. I always had thick long eyelashes... so I was using this project regime for skin care. After 3 short days of using the cleanser, serum and eye cream... MY EYELASHES ALL BROKE OFF! I am not kidding. Top and bottom... totally gone! This product is the only thing I had been doing different. I called the company, they got the numbers off the tubes from me and refunded my money (but not the shipping/handling!). I had even sent them a before/after photo with the results quite clearly showing. NO EYELASHES. How do you recover from that? (Plenty of protein drinks and now I'm trying Latisse, which is proving helpful). But they should take this line of products off the market till they discover what ingredient is causing hairs (eyelashes only... eyebrows are fine) to break off and/or fall out. All this happened in 3 days time.

Verified Purchase
I purchased this product and a week later my entire face had broken out into a rash. It's been two weeks and the rash is just starting to disappear. Please be sure to try this on another part of your body prior to putting it on your face. Waste of money for me.
