Format: Paperback
War is desperate slaughter and ugly death, but there has to be some things that lift the burden of war and sometimes that is humorous (NOT war). A Cat house in a truck serving front line troops is the thin veneer of the book, the real humor is the boozing, bored reporters and their antics. No matter the main character owns the cat house on wheels, he brings something of relief to all. Politics be Double D, and that is in the story also. The recognition of women in war (as reporters) is also there. Still check your reality button and realize that with the new world view women will be in front lines, and they are earthy people who will do what is necessary to survive. Not for the puritan reader, but for any who wishes to think on the greater aspects of real warfare behind the scenes. Thanks, Harry!
