Meaure of a Woman,
By Debbie Z. (Graham, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Measure of a Woman (Paperback)
This book helps us women who struggle with the world's way vs. God's way. It helps you identify your value to God and how you can develop your good traits to be the wife, mother, and Godly woman that you truly are. I am a stay at home mom and I struggle with the stereo type of what women in "today's world" should be doing. This book reitterates the value of yourself and God's design for a woman, even the stay at home woman. If you're down because of pressures from friends, family, husband, or just life in general, this is a book that will lift those pressures.

A Must Read,

This review is from: The Measure Of A Woman (Paperback)
I was absolutely captured as I read this book. The first two chapters were so informative and inspiring. We have ordered several copies for our Women's Ministry to read snd share at our meetings with our younger women who are lured by our society. The impression that outward beauty is what life is all about has our teens and young adults misguided. God looks at what no one else can see, the inner woman's beauty. A must read for all women and soon to be.fran

The Christian Woman's Handbook,
By
This review is from: The Measure of a Woman (Paperback)
This is a beautifully written book that all Christian Women should read. In fact, our church used it for a ladies bible study. It teaches just how a spirit filled, Christian woman should live her life, even in today's world.

Just couldn't get into it,

This review is from: The Measure of a Woman: What Really Makes A Woman Beautiful (Paperback)
I bought this for a small group/bible study with some ladies from church. I must say I just couldn't get thru it. I found I disagreed more with the book then what I actually got from it. Our group collectively was going to just switch to the Book of John instead because we were all so turned off by this book in general but stuck with it and I can't say I'm glad we did. I really hope that those who read this get more out of it then I did because I really wanted to love it :(
