I first heard Hate Dept. on the Coldwave Breaks compilations. And fell in love with the angry electronic industrial sound and great vocals. I also have 2 other hate dept albums(Ominipresent and technical difficulties). I like this album the best followed by technical difficultes and ominipresent. I like every song on the album. With "Beat Me Up, Start Digging, Drew, Bored and Stupid, and Kick You" being my favorite tracks.

For a debut album, it's not too shabby. Great stuff on it. Their second album, Omnipresent, feels like they were trying too hard, even though it still has a few good songs. Technical Difficulties was a good album, as well. But Meat.Your.Maker has the roots of their sound. They carry it and redefine it throughout the albums after it. It's worth checking out. A decent band if you like old school industrial.
