Este es el album de debut de la banda de pop más completa y exitosa que jamás hubo en España. 'Hoy No me Puedo Levantar' es un himno generacional, y 'Maquillaje' una maravillosa horterada que marcó época. Hay temas de los más conocidos, y joyas absolutamente ensombrecidas como 'Boda en Londres' y 'Sólo Soy una Persona'.
El encanto naïf de los ochenta, en su máxima expresión, en un disco imposible de olvidar. Ana, la voz. Nacho, la genialidad. Jose, la lírica. Mecano, una leyenda.

great album, December 28, 2008

I heard "Hijo de la luna" when I was a kid and I loved that song, so I decided to start listen to Mecano. Their self titled debut is their best album. Mecano not only has the typical "eighties" sound" but shows also very good songwriting with different songs like "Maquillaje" or "Solo Soy Una Péersona". I like to compare them to Morcheeba, for the line up (two male musicians and a female singer) and the sound.
If you like music that you can sing and dance, buy all of Mecano music.
