The phrase "piece of junk" is thrown around a lot these days...,

This review is from: Forte Pro II Mechanical Pencil, Refillable, .3MM Lead, Black Barrel PENA73A (Office Product)
There is a little piece of plastic inside the tip which helps to guide the lead from the barrel and out the tip. Mine was too small for 0.3mm lead (it can be difficult to make very small things precisely and cheaply), so to fix this I had to take the tip off the pencil and manually force several pieces of lead through the hole to widen it. After that, it will at least feed correctly. Seems to write okay after that.EDIT: After a week or so of using this thing, I threw it out because the feed mechanism jammed a few times.

its a machanical pencil,
this pencil is righteous. but thiers not really much to say. it writes, an if you eff up, the eraser works pretty well too. oh yeah, but if you have a habit of writing too hard i dont recommend this. its a 3mm lead pencil, which means two things: one, the lead is very brittle an snaps very easily, an two, if you live in a small town like i do, your gonna have a difficult time finding 3mm leads. ive been to many walmarts, k marts, pretty much any store ending in mart, your not gonna find leads for this. unless thiers an artmart somewhere out there. well im rambling now. im done.

I have been using Pentel for over 10 years now. I have been really happy with them in the past, till now. I noticed that my previous ones were made in Japan. This one however, is made in The US. I was looking for a .3mm pencil because of how small it can write. This pencil however does not automatically feed new lead in, when the previous leads runs out. I have to take the tip off and manually feed it. The eraser holder is not very good, too lose. It's just nothing like the quality of my other Pentel pencils.
