Tacticool..need I say more,

First go to Mechanix website and print off the size chart and buy the right size. I have been buying too big of gloves for too long because I thought I had manly large hands...well I only have medium manly hands. I didn't believe the chart so went to a home store tried on the Mechanix gloves in medium and they fit 100 x better than the large.I bought the Camo, all black (stealth) and the coyote of these Mechanix gloves so I can be tacticool! I use them at the shooting range, I use them on cold days as driving gloves. None of the home stores around had the 3 tacticool colors, plus they are cheaper on amazon.com. Now only if they made a pair in multi-cam so when the zombies come at me, they think to themselves...man that guy is all geared out and really cool looking. Then I place one between their eyes due to my awesome weapon control because I am wearing these cool gloves. Plus these gloves will keep your hands clean so when you rescue that hotty from being eaten you can take your gloves off and shake her hand and not worry about giving her cooties.

Great Shooting or Multi-Use Gloves,
This review is from: Mechanix Wear MG-72-009 Original Glove, Coyote, Medium (Tools & Home Improvement)
These are just an all-round great pair of gloves. They provide an excellent grip and an ideal balance between protection and dexterity. Being able to have that full range of motion and feel was especially important for my entended use: shooting/tactical gloves.I get sweaty hands when engaging in any activity that gets my heart pumping, shooting a gun is one of those activities. It is not comfortable having a deadly weapon slipping in your hand as you shoot it. These were an excellent solution. They do not limit your range of motion and the grip is just right, not too sticky and not too slick. I was able to grip the firearm great and helped my aim, control, and comfort level. That being said, these gloves provide and excellent grip and would work for activities such as driving, riding a bike, or different forms of physical labor. I personally have used them for carpentry and they are second to none. Most work gloves are thick and made of leather. Grabbing nails with them are an absolute pain in the neck. These gloves provide the protection and ability to work with precision. They will also be fit for multiple seasons, although there are better choices for winter gloves. However, I would not hesitate to use these in the winter if need be. These gloves will also be a nice addition to a camping kit as they seem to hold up pretty well for the price. They are decent for processing wood and other minor camp tasks; although, for more heavy duty tasks that do not require precision, I would recommend those thick leather gloves. I do not think it is wise to spend $30 on a pair of gloves as they will eventually end up like all gloves, ripped and riddled with holes. It is inevitable. These things will last a while and are worth the price. Amazon is also great because they sell at better prices than even Walmart or Target. At Target, I have seen them for over $20. With prime and no taxes, I only paid $17 for them. If you need super heavy dudey gloves, i would definitely recommend another pair of gloves. But, for there intended use and keeping adequat dexterity, these are the best i have found Great product from a reliable company. I highly recommend these Mechanix Wear gloves.

great gloves . excellent fit . no extra glove on my finger tip . i ordered a medium and i think 1911 grips are to small so anyone with average to slightly above average finger length should go with that size shipped quickly as always . the glove is known for quality so no worries there.oh but shipping is lame like 5.00 -6.00 bucks

I bought these gloves because I was looking for something protective and light to wear while shooting that wouldn't hinder my dexterity. These gloves fit the bill perfectly. I like them so much I decided to order another pair. The only drawback is that they don't grip very well (I found that when working with hand tools, I could get a better/more tight grip with the gloves on). However, this wasn't a problem while I was shooting...like the title says: "great for what it is."

Overall Impressions:
Well made, stiching is excellent, quality material, great looks and quite comfortable even in a tight trigger guard. Equally adept around the campfire. Likes: Fit/material is outstanding, Great protection from sizzling brass and all of the nasties that snag and rip at your hands while hiking, camping, moving and shooting. Looks are great, the coyote color is unique and blends well in a tactical environment. Dislikes: Not much to dislike, I prefer the velcro on top-it's kind of a pain to hook and loop on the bottom if the fit is snug. I suspect the finger ends are going to wear quickly, the protection is outstanding but the thin material that lends itself so well to intricate finger work (tying bootlaces, loading mags) is showing wear...I expect to get a full fall/winter out of these. Bottom Line: Great Gloves, worth much more than the purchase price, but lots of them now before some marketing director does something stupid and discontinues the line!

There is nothing to say about these gloves. I have been using Mechanix products for years now, mostly for working on my car and other friend's cars and they have always performed flawlessly. They protect from the heat and prevent your hand from getting all dirty and greasy. This pair I bought for use in airsoft games, as I have heard of servicemen using Mechanix Gloves in the line of duty (besides, usually gloves are pretty multipurpose anyways). These perform just as well as all the other pairs I have bought before. I can grab tree branches without worry, slide down hills with one hand for support and all that happens is my gloves get covered in leaves and dust. They're also great for protecting your hand from stray BBs, of course they're not padded so your hand will still feel a slight sting, but they do provide a small layer of protection which helps (BB's contacting bare skin = no bueno).
I will definitely be buying these again, Mechanix has me as a lifetime customer.

Great Gloves,

I have used this brand of gloves alot in the past. You can spend more for a better glove to run a gun hard with for approx 2-3x the price of Mechanix, but for around $20 I see no reason to buy any of the expensive brands. Unless of course, you go beyond my little shooting drill range visits and require a "real duty non-puncture/etc.." type pair pertaining to your job or something. Great product, good fit as opposed to many other i've tried.

great for shooting and outdoor woodsmaship. Theres less dexterity in the index finger and thumb than there is in the middle and ring fingers. Overall, you should definitely buy a pair.

Fantastic glove...I bought them for my son who is in the military...they are too small for him so I bought the next larger size for him and I will keep the small ones for myself. I will haul logs with them...what he does with them I don't know but he loves them.
