These are very nice gloves. I like the Mechanix line, but really wasn't thrilled with the repeated logo in white on the normal gloves. These have the same logo, only it is, as the description says, covert. Still readable, but not garish.

I know it's redundant to say they fit like a glove, but that expression got it's origins from things that fit perfectly. I have compared these to other work gloves, such as Stanley, but those all had seams that just hit the wrong places and would eventually make my fingers or fingertips sore. These gloves fit like a second skin. A slightly thicker second skin, but just the same.

While I can't exactly type out an email with them on, I can still use a keyboard without pressing four keys at once. They protect your hands very well, yet I can still pick up a dime off of the floor with them on.

The are vented, as stated, but they are still black and leather. You hands will still get a bit warm. But warm beats the heck out of the "hot" from similar products. Oh, and they're washable, too.

I suggest going to a brick and mortar store to try them on to get your size then come back here for a better price. If you don't need them right away, pop 'em in your cart and wait for the price to go down. I did and one day they dipped in price five bucks and a couple of clicks later, they were mine.

I've used these gloves primarily when I'm out hunting, but also for light yard work, furniture moving, and car work. The fit is perfect for me. These keep my hands dry while hunting and keeps thorns from desert plants from scratching me to death too. I've have several pairs of the original Mechanix gloves, and these are a good substitute except they're not as good at protecting the back of your hand from hot engine parts. The thickness of the material on the fingers is the same as my original Mechanix gloves, so dextarity is about the same, which is to say very good. I also like the all black with very subtle logo images.

I first ran into these in Iraq, and they're straight wonderful. I use them for labor, pull ups, weightlifting, mechanical work, and pretty much anything where I want my hands to remain dainty and callous free. I only bought my second pair (these ones) after my old ones FINALLY fell apart after being tortured for a year and a half. Approve.

The gloves arrived in good time, the fit is excellent and the material lets the gloves breathe thus very comfortable in hot climates or weather and it is very light in weight, in fact so light that you will even forget that you have them on. It by no means is a heavy duty glove but is great for light work.
It can easily be used as a shooting glove on the range as finger sensitivity is great. I however would not recommend these gloves for any tactical operations requiring a protected back of hand as the back of hand protection on these gloves are minimal thus why it is called the Original "Vent" Glove. Also these gloves are not flash or fire resistant and should not be used in applications where one may be exposed to as such.
All in all its a great glove that fits well and will serve the purpose exactly for what I purchased them for as a light work glove.

I've always found it hard to find a good work glove and end up working bare handed when gloves really are needed. Most work gloves are too stiff, too cumbersome, and so don't get worn. These Mechanix gloves are very different and you need to experience them to appreicate that protection for your working hands can be comfortable.

Working in hot weather is a whole different thing and since I already knew how good Mechanix gloves fit and work, I tried the "vent" model and was very pleased at how comfortable it was in the heat; gloves you actually will keep on your hands where they belong to provide cushioning and protection from the work you are doing.

Keepin it simple and short. very well thought out glove. Very breathable but protective. I lift alot of wooden pallets, and its done very well. On top of my job is dealing with broken glass, and the gloves help a ton. I like it alot, and seen two weeks of use. Excellent glove overall

I use these gloves mainly for shooting in the summer. They have held up nice and are very cool. The only negative is they get wet quick. Will be buying another pair once my current ones get too chewed up.

These gloves are OK, but the XL is definitely undersized, very hard for me to put on and take off. Since I always wear XL gloves with no problem, I can only conclude that the manufacturer doesn't know his measurements. But they are cool and comfortable, and give good gripping and handling protection and sensitivity. But I won't bother buying them again, at least not this brand.

Very good gloves best in my opinion for those with clammy hands or who get hot fast while working. Definetly worth the buy and the best way is always thru Amazon!!!

MECHANIX HAS ALWAYS MADE GOOD RELIABLE GLOVES FOR WHATEVER U NEED TO DO WITH YOUR HANDS. THESE VENT STYLE GLOVES KEPT MY HANDS DRY OF SWEAT WHILE OUTSIDE WEARING THEM FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
