5.0 out of 5 stars Mechanix Wear Kevlar M-Pact glove, Nice!, November 14, 2005
This review is from: Mechanix Wear Kevlar M-Pact II Gloves, Blue - Large
Ok, so why pay $25 bucks for a pair of multi-colored Bob Vila super-hero gloves, when leather work gloves are $10??? Well, these are really cool for doing regular tasks around the house or out and about. When I do work, I find that going bare-handed usually means I end up with some form of damage to my skin, be it dryness, blisters, or scrapes etc.

These gloves are great for isolation from vibration of the lawn mower or tools. Plus, they allow greater dexterity to grab screws, nuts and bolts, make adjustments to tools. Leather gloves involve pulling off , putting on, to perform these tasks.

They wear ok but my only criticism is that between your fingers is vulnerable to puncture by a stray fence wire, etc.

Mortar work , roofing, dirt... get leather gloves. These activities greatly shorten the life of any glove quickly.
