Purchased for father while in assisted living

- Very comfortable, father is 6'3" tall and worked great
- Solidly built and steady in the shower
- Height adjustment work great

This shower chair works well for our purpose. Its rubber feet hold their places when in use. The chair is light and easy to put in and out of the tub. Also It is easy to assemble and disassemble. I saved the box for my wife will be needing a right hip surgery next year so I will store the chair in the attic when not in use.

This prroduct gives my wife great confidence when bathing and/or showering as she can sit and not risk falling when washing.

I purchased this chair to be used in the shower by a single amputee. When attempting to assemble it - I had to flex the aluminum legs significantly to get the holes to line up so the screws could go in. I was not able to get all of the screws all the way in.

This chair was very light weight and felt and looked "cheap".

I wanted to make sure that the metal parts were all aluminum - some of them looked like steel (like the springs), so I chose to return it for those reasons. I had to pay for shipping back so lost 35% percent of the purchase price. I do not reccomend this item.

I bought this shower chair because I read that it will fit in the bathtub. I have a normal sized bathtub, and it fit, but not properly. The chair legs were not able to sit flat on the bottom of the tub due to the rounding of the edges of the tub. The chair worked for a while but eventually the metal in one of the legs gave and broke.

If you have a shower stall or very big bathtub this is a great chair, but I would not recommend this chair for a normal size bathtub.

This chair comes in pieces and needs assembly, which can be a bit tricky. The holes in the legs and seat and back support do not always match up exactly, and you must leave things a bit loose until all the bolts holding the pieces together have been well started in their respective locations.

Once all the bolts have a good grip, you can tighten them down and the chair becomes fairly sturdy for the lightweight construction.

The seat and back are molded from waterproof plastic, and the legs are aluminum. The legs adjust with spring loaded pins, much like the legs of folding picnic shelters which are popular. Contrary to the description, the greatest height the chair can adjust to is 17.25 inches. The legs have exceptionally sturdy crutch tips which work quite well to keep the chair stable.

The chair is as comfortable as you can expect such a plastic chair to be, although I have not tried it in the shower. I purchased it to try out as inexpensive alternative/strange/bondage furniture, and it seems like it will do adequately in those roles, as long as its limitations (light weight, etc.) are taken into consideration. I will update upon further testing.
