MedReady 1600LF Medication Pill Box Reminder Dispenser w/ Low Frequency Alarm. (All MedReady pill dispensers come in either 120V or 240V for International customers!) The pill tray has 28 compartments that can be filled with medication. Each compartment is 1" x .5' x .75" and can hold pills of different sizes and combinations of sizes. When the alarm sounds, the tray advances allowing you access to the medication in that compartment. If you use one daily alarm, the tray is good for 28 days of medication dispensing. When the alarm sounds, the tray advances allowing you access to the medication in that compartment by sliding open the white window and taking out the medication. FEATURES: - One alarm daily = 28 days of medication - Two alarms daily = 2 weeks worth of medication - Three alarms daily = 9 days of medication - Four alarms daily = 1 week's worth of medication - Lower frequency alarm is 400 HZ - If you miss a medication time, the tray will advance at the next scheduled alarm. Great product. My mom is 86 years old with memory problems. I was having to call her 3 times a day to remind her it was time to take her pills which was not an easy thing for me to do, and I sometimes would forget if I got busy. At first she was not happy to learn she was getting the dispenser but after only two days of using the dispenser she was actally happy I ordered it. The stress of her trying to remember to take pills is now gone. She has not missed a dosage yet. I set the alert tone for the maximum length of time in case she is not in her apartment at the exact time which for her works the best. I have not had to use the modem to receive notification if she doesn't take her pills at this time but I am sure I will be needing to use it in the future. THis dispenser has allowed mom to stay in her independant apartment rather than having to move to assited living. The only thing I had to do was to tape a note to the blue lid stating Open white door, take pills, close white door because she was not closing the white door after taking her pills.

My mother moved here into a Senior Community - not an assisted living. Prior to her moving she got so stressed and confused that she totally mixed up her meds to the point that she was hallucinating - hiding pills, etc. She was a total wreck when she got here. I could not let her handle her MANY pills on her own, but didn't want to have to pay for someone to come in 4 times a day to give them to her. So I found this, and now she is doing just fine and I sure feel better. She has already printed off the paperwork and shown it to other residents and I have told the managers about it. For someone who doesn't need assisted living, but needs the extra assistance this is PERFECT!!I have not had to use the phone attachment yet, but I bought the unit with that ability, so if I needed to use it I could. I also turned off the alarm. None of these are bad - but for her, right now, they are not needed.

My mom, who is suffering from dementia, has not missed a day of medication since I setup the medication pill box reminder dispenser. The option that swayed me to this product was the ability to set the alarm to sound for a long period of time. Since my Mom is not on a regular daily routine, she might not be in her apartment at a specific time to take her medication. With this product I can set the alarm to ring for 250 minutes. So when mom returns to her apartment she hears the alarm and takes her pills.
