I have bought all of these items seperately and they do help a lot when you are pumping for work. It is great to keep extra pumps, valves, and storage bottles so you aren't constantly cleaning.

My favorite part of this kit is definitely the micro-steam bag. I still use this, even now that I'm not pumping as much. It is a very quick way to sterilize all the little things - you can do a bag full of pacifiers, nipples, nipple rings, etc. in 3-5 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. Awesome!

Two years ago, I bought a breastpump to monitor the amount of milk that my daughter was drinking at each feeding. I purchased this Breastpump Accessory Set for use with my Pump In Style once my son was born. I wanted to be sure that I was using brand new equipment, (not that I had to, but it was my preference). The only thing I have a problem with is that they don't include the two tubes in this package. Luckily, I was aware of that when I purchased this "set" and went elsewhere to get the new tubes. I would have paid a little more to have EVERYTHING included.
As for another review stating that the nipples are a great transition from the breast - NOTE: This set does not include nipples. (that review could be misleading)

If you are buying an electric Medela breast pump, you will need at least two of these sets unless you want to be washing and boiling the parts everyday. It is nice to have a few extra shields on hand so that you don't have to be as quick to keep up on having the one set clean all the time. (Trust me, being new to motherhood myself, I have many other distractions to worry about than vigorously keeping up on cleaning the parts!)

I bought extra accessories when I went back to work...and it was a life saver. I kept an extra set of supplies in a sealed plastic container and would just have to worry about taking the bag and milk home and back. The Micro Clean bags are great!!!! I even used them at home when I didn't have time to sterilize over a stove...

For some reason it doesn't even say this on the box. If you have a different kind of pump, it looks awesome, all the stuff you need.

This set is great if you are looking for an extra set of bottles. I ordered this because I was tired of cleaning everything every single night. I thought the breastshields would be just like the ones that came with the pump; in three pieces. I was wrong, it only comes in two pieces. So if you are not a size 24mm then you CANNOT swap out the shields for the right size. I had already ordered this and the right size shields for myself. I could not tell from the listing or the picture on the box that it was not one you could swap out so I opened it. Now I can't return it. I had to order personal fit connectors in addition to everything else. I am just a little annoyed that it wasn't clearly stated and that the kit only exists in the one size. I realize the listing said to check for other listings to get other sizes but there are none that I can find. Don't make the same assumption I did.

I wanted to make sure that every mom who wanted to purchase this knows that the horns themselves are all one part. They are not the removable part ones that come with the newer pumps. So if you are a mom that needs bigger or smaller shields than the standard that came with your pump, don't get this.

Besides that, the parts are identical and work great.

Ordered this for the wife. The current set we have has the shields separate from the part that connects the shield to the tube. In this set they're all one piece. If you have one of the breast pump bras these are a pain to put in. Otherwise medela stuff is good stuff.

This is great to have as a spare set for your Medela electric pump in case parts wear out or you just want a second set while cleaning the first. The microsteam bags are great for disinfecting parts. They can also be purchased seperately for $4.99 for a bag of 5 which can be used up to 100 uses, 20 per bag.

This is a nice product and definitely helps nursing moms stay on top of pumping without having to run the dishwasher every five minutes. Everything looks exactly as it does in my Medela Pump In Style Bag except for the breast shields and valves. In my pump the breast shield and valves were two separate pieces, and this kit sells them as one piece. The fit is a tiny bit different so be aware. They still work fine, it was just an adjustment for me.
