I used several different brands and was the least happy with the Medela brand. After just 1-2 washes they were so wrinkled and misshapen that they were unusable as a breast pad. No, I did not use the little bag that came with them or hand wash, etc. I just threw them in with the rest of my little one's laundry. however, I tried 4 different brands and these are the only ones I had trouble with as far was washing and losing shape.

These pads are larger than the standard Avent or Gerber ones, which is great for fuller-breasted women like me. They are not as thin, being that they are all cotton flannel, with no synthetic backing. These are what I use for nighttime and for being at home, since the pads will sometimes curl in the wash, making them noticeable under thin shirts.

I have used these pads when nursing my 2 children--they are soft + get softer w/ every wash! You save so much money w/ these over disposable, and they actually fit better--no creases, nothing. Best product!

Be aware that you actually only get 4 nursing pads, NOT 4 PAIRS (ie 8) nursing pads. The picture clearly shows 4 PAIRS, but it's only 2 PAIRS and 4 actual pads - - the picture is misleading. However, after contacting the seller, they were gracious enough to make it right and correct the misunderstanding - - they sent me an additional 2 pairs.
