All I do is pump. The spare parts make it so much easier! I don't have to wait for them to dry or use a paper towel to dry the parts. These are identical to the ones that come with the freestyle Medela pump.

Side note (the really cheap 99 cent BPA Free plastic "Reduces Colic Gerber" bottles found at Target hook up to the Freestyle pump perfectly and are a lot cheaper than purchasing Medela bottles-- They come in 5 oz and 9 oz)

This review is for the Medela Spare Parts kit 67061.

If you have a Medela Freestyle breast pump and you need extra breastshield membranes this is the kit to get. Basically, this kit includes the acessories you need on the bottle. You put this toghether and crew it on the bottle. To make a functional assembly you still need 2 things that are not included:

- bottle

- breast shield - this is a separate item and it comes in different sizes. The ones that come with the pump are Softfit 24mm - model# 67246.

By buying this kit and extra breastshields and bottles you can have multiple assemblies available if needed (work, home, etc...)

Other than cleaning these parts and the breastpumps these are great. They work really well but they are a pain to clean you have to have at least 2 sets to save you from cleaning all day long.

I ordered four of these thinking is was one head per box (everything mentioned on the page indicated that to be the truth). But when they arrived, there were 2 heads per box. So don't make the same mistake I did.

I wanted some extras now that I'm returning to work. These spare parts were easy to find on Amazon and fit with my pump. My warning is: I'm finding that my older ones are losing their suck and I have to squeeze together to keep them working. I may need to toss these out and get new ones. They are wearning out sooner than i thought but I guess it is, what it is.

Once you start pumping it can feel like all you do is feed, pump, change diapers, repeat. There doesn't feel like a lot of time to wash and sanitize because there isn't. I actually have 3 sets of these and it's really been a lifesaver.

I wash them in batches and always have clean ones ready when it's time to pump. I find it especially helpful on the go--I assemble a couple sets of the spare parts, the breastshield and a bottle and put them in a ziploc bag for when I'm ready to pump. After I'm done, I put the used (dirty) set into a recycled plastic shopping bag and have it set aside to wash when I get home. If I need to pump again while I'm out, I have another set all ready to go and I'm not worried about any bacteria or dried milk from the last session.

You can also grab some Quick Clean Breastpump and Accessory Wipes 24 Pack. They work well too but can get a little pricey if you're using them every time you pump.

It dose the same thing that comes from original package. It contains two sets in the package. (I wasn't sure when I ordered it)

Useful for moms who pump regular and need to wash, santize between pumping sessions. I wish it came with breastshields but maybe that would increase the price, it would just be useful.

I needed this set to have an extra set for work. It serves its purpose and I'm happy! I would recommend this product to anyone.

So I have these for my freestyle pump I am waitting to use with my 2nd baby. My 1st son, I had a Pump in Style Advanced backback style. Those have totally different connectors. However, I like these a little better. I wanted extra so I wouldnt have to constantly clean them when in a rush at work. They connect to the hardshelled breast shields. I DO NOT like the ones that come with the freestyle. I DO NOT suggest them, and I think they're the reason for the loss of suction. Good news, you can just disassemble them from the older PIS and connect on to these. I think they're much easier to clean. They are neat and less parts too! Awesome find, for sure you should buy a few sets so you're not overwhelmed with cleaning constantly!
