This foot rest is great both prenatally and for feeding time. This great foot rest helps angle the feet so that you don't get pinching in the hips or tired feet. Also, this is great for dad when he wants to help feed the little one. Overall this product is great and can be used with rocking chairs and any chair really to transform it into a comfortable feeding place.

Yes, you could probably make your own or find a suitable alternative, but I found this easy to put together and perfectly sized for me. I keep it under my couch and it makes a complete difference in how I comfortable I am while breastfeeding (my feet do not touch the floor without it). It's not an absolute "must have," but it's a nice luxury and ordering it made me feel prepared. It doesn't take tools to put together, you just lightly hammer the pieces into place. The white shows the dirt collected from your feet pretty easily, but a quick sweep with the vacuum and it looks good as new!

I use the stool as a footrest under my computer desk. I am short so when I raise my chair to a good height, my feet dangle. This is great to put my feet on. The flat ones seem to increase stress on my back and the slant of the nursing stool allows me to work for longer periods. After you no longer nurse, just move the stool to the computer desk area.
