Fits my Braun 10-cup coffee maker perfectly. Seems sturdier than the original that came with the coffee maker. Markings on sides are great because it is clear how many ounces each mark denotes, which I was never sure about with the original. My only complaint is that the lid does not come off very easily to put it in the dishwasher, but it will come off with a bit of wiggling. Don't waste your money on the brand-name carafe.

When I opened the box for this carafe, I found a well made product. Good clear paint for the measuring lines and quality glass with no sharp edges. I also found the placement of the measuring lines more logical - it would be easier to read while filling. The way the lid attaches to the handle feels a bit flimsy compared to my Krups carafe, like it would slide about while carrying liquid.

My complaint is with the description of this product on Amazon. It is clearly listed as fitting Krups model 171, which it does not. I verified this against the product description on the maker's own website and they make no mention of this carafe fitting Krups model 171. Before buying this item, I suggest you look over their "fits list" on their web site: [...]
This list is seems to be kept current.

I don't know whether this mistake lies with Amazon or Medelco. I'm just bummed I remain carafe-less.

I ordered this as a replacement for a broken carafe in my Krups 867 Bistro. Wish I had seen the prior review, the Medelco site does list this as fitting the 867 BUT it is a version with a CP at the end, not the one here on Amazon. You need the GL 210-CP. Not the GL 210.

It is a good quality carafe for the money. Nothing fancy but nothing wrong except...it is about an 1/16 of an inch too short to work properly on the krups. It barely lifts the lever that opens the flow of coffee. Just enough to dribble some coffee, but not quite enough to be effective. If we make a half a pot it will keep up, anymore and it will overflow out of the filter area. I have put a butter knife blade between the lid and the lever and that is just enough heigth for it to work properly. Not a good long term solution.

UPDATE: I called the company and for the cost of shipping (2$) they sent me the proper lid and it works fine-no issues.

Won't Fit SDC2A Black & Decker Spacemaker. Found this advertised on other sites as replacement carafe for Black & Decker Spacemaker SDC2A so I ordered from Amazon like I do. Looked a little small when it came. The coffee ran all over the counter and wood floor. The Pot is measured in 4 oz cups and the Spacemaker 5 oz cups so there's an extra 10 oz that won't fit in carafe. NOT A SPACEMAKER REPLACEMENT. Costs nearly as much for return shipping as the pot costs so it'll go to Goodwill.

If you have a Krups Coffee Maker please note: There is a special replacement carafe for KRUPS. It is the Medelco GL210-CP. It is 1/2 inch taller than the GL210. Amazon seems to only offer the GL210. I could not find a GL210-CP on their site.
The GL210 will not fit Krups machines. Order the GL210-CP from the Medelco site. Don't make the same mistake I made in ordering this product from Amazon.

This carafe fits perfectly in a 10-cup Braun Aromaster. It also costs less, and unlike the original carafe, it doesn't dribble hot coffee every time you pour a cup.

Half the price of the Braun carafe and I like it better because there's only one piece to the top cover, versus two on the Braun. Simple is better.

This is the only 10 cup replacement I could find for my Braun coffee pot. It works just like the orginal one I had broken. Easy to clean and use.

Works with my Braun KF400. As previously mentioned, lid does not detach for cleaning as easily as Braun's lid. Need to press the lid to carafe when pouring to avoid dribbling. No big deal to me.
Can't beat the price.
