I have had foot pain while playing tennis for a number of months. I have changed shoes, but nothing helped. I've been doing exercises with the Prostrech and it has almost completely eliminated the pain. If use it to strech, it really helps!

ARCH AND HEEL PAIN GONE THE FIRST DAY!!!,
This review is from: ProStretch (Misc.)
I had been suffering with arch and heel pain for the past few years. I tried expensive shoes which are very comfortable but the pain persisted. When I would stand from a sitting position it would hurt and I would limp the first few steps. The problem progressed to the point that I was going to make an appointment to see a podiatrist.
I came across an article about the Prostretch and decided to try it as a last resort. I read the manual as soon as it arrived and did the "gastroc" exercise. After, my foot felt good and I had less soreness. The muscles felt loose and stretched, not tight as they normally would. I sat down for about an hour and then did the exercise again. I sat down for a while again and everything felt great and the soreness was entirely gone. I stood up with out pain and no more limping the first few steps. I knew the true test would be when I got up in the morning. When I got out of bed, no pain. I walk 3 miles a day on the treadmill. In the past, I had pain before and after the walk. I can't wait to try that out today. Now that I have used the Prostretch, I wish that I would have bought the bilateral model to do both legs at the same time, but it's no big deal because it only takes a couple of minutes to exercise both legs.

Average Tool. No Better Than Static STretching Against Wall.,

Wow!
To say I was underwhelmed would be, well, an underwhelming understatement. This tool is VERY sturdy, made of rigid plastic. It's very well made. And, it DOES do a VERY good job of stretching the calf. HOWEVER, anyone giving this thing glowing reviews isn't/hasn't been a competitive athlete. Why? YOU CAN GET EXACTLY THE SAME STRETCH - IF NOT DEEPER - doing standard hamstring and calf stretches leaning into the wall. THIS IS WHY I'm under whelmed. It's no different than doing standard static stretches. As for plantar fasciatis relief, which I was hoping for, it SUCKS for stretching the fascia. The instructions read, "The plantar fascia is stretched by default when doing the exercises." Seriously, YOU'RE MUCH, MUCH better off just grabbing your foot in one hand, and pulling your toes/ball of your foot up HARD, and holding your heel in the other to stretch your plantar fascia. Again, it's a well made device. But I've returned it; because I have enough stuff lying around that serves no real purpose other than someone thought of way to make something to fix a problem that doesn't exist. Good luck.

This product is so worth the money. It really helps with foot and lower leg soreness and tiredness. With daily use it can virtually eliminate these problems. I work out intensely on a daily basis, and it is one of my best tools for getting me through.

This is very helpful - and no risk of your toes slipping off the edge of the stairs. It definitely does what it's supposed to do.

Solved my problem,

I had suffered from Plantor Fasciitis for about nine months. I had seen doctors and doing sretches to relieve the problem with no success. I ordered this without much hope that it would help. After the very first time using this product the pain decreased significantly. After three days it is completely gone. That includes the typical morning pain.
I am truly amazed. I do the same kind of strethces on this that I was doing under the supervision of a doctor. I get the impression the this item allows these stretches along a greater angle and so the effectiveness. After dibilitating pain for almost a year I consider the Prostretch a little plastic miracle

This calf and heal cord stretcher works extremely well and is well made. It's far cheaper on Amazon.com than the price given to me by the physical therapist. The only problem is that I forget to use it!
