MediBeads Microwave Activated Moist Heat NECK REST provides greater deep-muscle penetration than a dry heating pad. This wrap is designed to relieve arthritis, muscle and neck aches, soreness and stiffness. There are no cords, no water, no messy gels and no "hot spots" that can burn. <div>The NECK REST is designed to relieve tight, sore muscles resulting from stress, tension, and prolonged static activities. Deep-penetrating heat helps restore neck muscles to a relaxed and healthy state. Unique horse-shoe design fits securing around the shoulders and neck. MediBeads are different from other fillers like grains, seeds, or gels in that they produce moist heat by absorbing water molecules from the air. When activated in the microwave for a minute or two, these molecules are released in the form of clean, soothing heat. Simply heat in the microwave as directed, apply to the site of pain. Relief begins immediately and lasts for up to 30 minutes. MediBeads are washable and reuseable.

This product sat on the shoulders better than the other neck style but it's drawback is that it does not retain heat as well as another product I have used.

The moist heat that comes from this neck rest is amazing.It stays warm for a long time and helps loosen tight muscles and relieves tension. Great buy and it makes my husband feel good.

It does exactly what it says it will do - work for 30 minutes. Wish it says worked for 45 minutes or an hour though. It's great because it has a bit of mass so it pushes the heat into your nexck and shoulders and it's also moist. I also have an electric neck heater that wraps around the neck and shoulders + it also sits on the top of the back and chest. it's a little akward looking but it's seriously comfortable. I got it off of Amazon and would recommend it over this if I could only have one as it stays constantly hot for much longer.
