As a volunteer Director of Technical Ministries, I get asked by other churches to give advice. I always recommend this book as well as have given several copies away to those in need. This book covers the philosophy of Media in Ministry very well and gives practical advice on what to do and what NOT to do. This is recommended reading, espcially for music pastors.

This is a great book for those getting started in media ministry. Eason has offered his experience and the valuable lessons he's learned in this easy to understand and quick reading manual. The book is full of knowledge and practical advice for using multimedia in worship. Discussions involving the theological implications of multimedia in worship, tips about equipment, advice on building a team, copyright information, graphics, powerpoint, and video can be found here. The book even comes with a helpful DVD for training! I highly reccommend it!

This is a spectacular, well written book that takes technical information about the mystery of media ministry and translates it into the language of the common man.

This book is a complete resource for this type of Ministry in your Church discussing topics ranging from Ministry aspects, motivation, hardware, software, team building, and more on the CD. Just a very good resource. This book has been very influencial to our Church in the development of visual media.

Decidely aimed at small churches that are new to technology, Media Ministry Made Easy is a quick and easy book for the techo-challenged.

The book is very one-dimensional since it lacks any useful advice on audio or lighting, instead assuming that video projection is the most important aspect to media. Unfortunately, this is an inaccurate assumption that will leave even a mildy technology-aware person wanting more.

For those just getting started with video projection, this is a worthy book, otherwise, save yourself the time and money.

This book is designed to help a church or person get started in church media. It's a compelte resource that no church or individual starting out should be without. I consider the book one of the most important resources and for that reason I make it a point to give a copy to anyone I work with starting out.

I bought this book for a college class I took last yer. Unfortunately we never once used the book in class. In fact we never used the book at all. (That's like most college classes). But the book and disk were in excellent shape and the shipment time was about average.

At the time of it's writing and for the few years following this was the de factor book for churches first getting starting using projectors in their sanctuaries. And while the technology has changed significantly in the past 5 years, the core message about purpose and vision with regard to starting, growing and maintaining this type of ministry is as solid as ever. Author, Tim Eason's depth of knowledge and passion are evident. The included DVD hosts some very valuable resources to get you going.

This is sure to be the most helpful church media book on the market. He gives you alot of practical advice to start or develop a media ministry. It not just full of philisophical advice,but also key concepts that will make any media ministry
come alive. Tim Shows us, that "Media Ministry" does not just projecting words on a screen but communicating the gospel in an effective way. Great Book!

This book has all old material and is outdated. I would recommend anything from Len Wilson and Jason Moore or Anthony Coppedge over this book.
