Agreed, perfect for merging cable box or DTA and unencrypted HD feed.,
This review is from: Net Media NM-ACB3 Video Bypass/Combiner Kit - Channels 2 Through 6 (Electronics)
As blackbear says this is perfect if you want to merge the non HD output of a DTA or cable box with an unencrypted HD signal (either cable or Antenna) into the same RF (cable) input. You need to buy a 2-3 short 3 or 6 foot cable TV cables to connect to this adapter. I found them in my local dollar store.Wire this up and you have your digital HD channels where you normally watch them, while being able to watch your cable box (DTA) non HD output on analog channel 3 or 4. This means you are in effect combining two RF cable connections into one without needing an A/B switch!

Perfect for Comcast DTA,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I have no idea how these aren't infinitely more popular. When using a Comcast DTA (the "first 2 free" little black boxes for all-digital areas) with a HDTV, you can avoid using an A-B switcher to toggle between the DTA and the direct feed. With this in place, you can tune all your QAM HD locals, then simply turn to channel 3 for the DTA. No A-B switching = no moving from the couch. Win!
