5.0 out of 5 stars Saved me thousands in attorney fees!!!!!!, December 30, 1998

I heard about this book from Dov Simens who teaches a low budget filmaking course. I bought it and it had all the contracts I needed to get my production company going and my first film made.I was amazed at how easy it was to use and it's clear explanations of contracts in the movie business. On one page there's a contract and on the opposite page there's an explanation of the contract. This is a must read if you want to make films.

4.0 out of 5 stars A well written and concise guide of film and tv contracts, August 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Media Production Agreements: A User's Guide for Film and Programme Makers (Blueprint) (Library Binding)
This book is a well written and concise collection of contracts for those involved in the film and television industry. The author has set out contracts such as a writers agreement and an option agreement which are essential to producers trying to develop a film or television production. There is a very helpful co-production agreement and contracts for directors, finders of finance and presenters are also very helpful. The format of the book is very clever since each page has a page of the contract with an explanation of the contract on the opposite page. As a film producer I would recommend this book which will save thousands of dollars on your legal bills.

This book has saved me thousands in legal fees. The book explains most contracts that are used in the film and tv business and can really help. I think that this book should be a standard issue to producers out trying to make movies.
