Product Description

Mediabridge component video cables with left and right stereo audio are ideally suited for connecting video components with video resolutions of 1080i or less as well as stereo audio, Cable TV Converter Boxes, DVR's, DVD Players, Televisions, and Projectors. Mediabridge utilizes a molded design in order to provide a compact design. Jacket is soft and flexible PVC, encased in a high-grade durable nylon sleeve. Connectors are gold plated for ultimate conductivity. The fourth and fifth cables are used to connect left and right stereo audio.

This is one of several Mediabridge cables I ordered for the installation of a large plasma screen over a fireplace. This cable-set is flat, with all individual cables lying side-by-side (not visible in product photos.) This prevents tangling and makes for neater installations and cable tracing. I did not need the audio connections for my installation but included them for any future homeowner who might need them. This cable was competitively priced and the high quality makes it a bargain.

The 5 wires in this bundle (L & R audio, Y/Pb/Pr) all work great with excellent quality. It comes in a flat coil but you can easily separate the wires by pulling apart from the coil if, for example, you need one set to extend in another direction from the other set. Great price, great product. Do not waste money paying retail at the store. A cable bundle like this runs about $30 or more at home electronics stores.

I used to buy expensive cables until I read a scientific report that concluded that any differences in sound quality between a standard twisted copper speaker wire and that of a Monster type speaker wire would be so small as to be totally imperceptible to the human ear (but maybe you're dog would appreciate it). I've since compared decent audio and video cables to that of my Monster stuff and I couldn't tell a darn bit of difference. These get the job done, and done well, without breaking the bank.
