Mediabridge Toslink Cables
The Toslink optical audio connection carries a digital audio stream using a fiber-optic cable. This Mediabridge Toslink Cable is perfect for whenever you need to connect audio devices, such as a CD or DVD players to a receiver or preamplifier.
In home-theater applications, you can use the Toslink connection to send a Dolby Digital or DTS soundtrack to an audio processor or A/V receiver for surround-sound decoding.
Since Toslink uses fiber-optic cable, it is free from distortion caused by electrical or magnetic interference that an electrical cable would incur. The result is an audio signal that is purer, as well as truer to the original recording.

Great Fitting Optical Cable,

This cable fits snug and tight unlike some of the other reviewed optical cables on here. Was in secure packaging, wrapped in plastic and had a twist tie on it as well. The sound out of my TV has had NO interruptions or fade outs. This cable is a great deal and a great fit. Just don't forget to remove the plastic tips that protect the optical ends before installing it.

I ordered both toslink and HDMI cables from Mediabridge via Amazon. They are a great value compared to purchasing from local retailers (Be-- Bu-, Rad-- Sha--, etc.) who overcharge for these cables of the same quality. Don't be fooled, these Mediabridge units are better for less. I also picked up one of their CAT-5 ethernet cables and I'm totally satisfied.
