Great Fitting Optical Cable
This cable fits snug and tight unlike some of the other reviewed optical cables on here. Was in secure packaging, wrapped in plastic and had a twist tie on it as well. The sound out of my TV has had NO interruptions or fade outs. This cable is a great deal and a great fit. Just don't forget to remove the plastic tips that protect the optical ends before installing it.

Connector does not seem to seat properly
These were delivered quickly and packaged well. However when I went to install them I had difficulty getting the ends to stay seated into the optical audio ports in the back of my Sat box and also in the back of my Samsung Blue Ray box. I ordered both toslink and HDMI cables from Mediabridge via Amazon. They are a great value compared to purchasing from local retailers (Be-- Bu-, Rad-- Sha--, etc.) who overcharge for these cables of the same quality. Don't be fooled, these Mediabridge units are better for less. I also picked up one of their CAT-5 ethernet cables and I'm totally satisfied.

This cable, like all digital cables, doesn't need to be expensive. If you spend more than five dollars on an optical cable, you're wasting your money. The more expensive cables will not get you better audio. This cable is perfect in all ways. It was a very secure fit that you have to push in with a good amount of force, this tells me it definitely won't fall out.

Remove cap on end of cable,

If you have never used an optical cable before, you might not know that you must remove the protective caps on the ends of this cable. I am certain this is why the 1 star ratings were given. I did this myself before I realized what the problem was.
