Used it to download map updates and it worked as expected. It is much better value for money than other products available.

This cable worked very well for my Garmin Nuvi 260 allowing me to download the newest Garmin Maps. The maps were somewhat incorrect on the Garmin system, but the cable was worked fine.

I bought this cable to update a GPS that didn't come with one and wasn't about to pay the GPS manufacturers $30 cost. This works and works well enough. I bought Mediabridge HDMI cables and they are fine too.

So why pay more? These work well enough for the cost.

That 5 feet USB cable work fine but the product I received does not look like the picture...The black cylinder in the picture is not on mine

This replaces the pre-packaged Garmin cord which I lost, but unlike that cord it is not marked as a Garmin "factory" cord. On the other hand it connects my Garmin GPS to my computer and also allows charging - basically it works! So I guess it doesn't really matter?

This USB cable worked as expected. Since Garmin no longer includes this cable when you purchase their GPS, you need this to down-load updates or register your product. I own many USB cables but none of them had the correct end for the GPS. If you have one that fits the Garmin, then use that one, otherwise this cable will work great.

The cable that came standard with my 765T was only 18". My tower for my computer sits on the floor and is way to short. I had to put in a usb2.0 card in the back of the tower, and that made it hard to get to.....hence this 5' cable! The cable stays plugged in the back and reaches my desktop. I had recently done the map upgrade and put in about 300 songs onto the nuvi with this cable! So it works!!

Just what I needed to be able to complete my downloading for my Garmin unit, glad I was able to get it for a lower price then the dearler was asking for.
