I needed a cable to hook up my new 120hz Samsung LCD and Blu-Ray player.

I really don't care much about cables and would never have expected I would be sitting here taking the time to write a review on one, but this is one of those times I have been pleasantly surprised so here I am.

This is such a nice cable I have to say I would have expected this cable to cost much more than what I paid.

The guy in the department store was trying to talk me into paying almost $200 for cables he said I absolutely had to have because I was buying a 120hz TV. I found the $200 cables (along with the service plan) they wanted to sell me to be a rip-off.

I found this cable on Amazon for $11.95 and the net cost for 2 of them was under $25. They work absolutely perfectly and this cable meets all of the same specification and is every bit as good as those $200 cables.

An added bonus is this nylon sleeve which encases the cable. It works perfectly for our LCD mount since you have to feed the cable through the mount. The sleeve really makes the cable slide through the mount nicely.

Buy this cable! An excellent deal.

I just bought a Nvidia GTX 260 OCX video card and was trying to hook it up to my Samsung 1080p LCD. I tried using the hdmi cable that came with my dvd player. Was getting a very intermittent 1920 x 1080 pic. Lots of times my tv would say "searching for signal". I bought a couple of these and now my pic comes in every time. I always thought you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between hdmi cables....guess I was very wrong.

I had decided to finally take the plunge and mount my LCD TV on the wall. I unplugged all of the cables and proceeded to mount the TV.

Silly me, I didn't realize the HDMI cable for the DVD player was only 3' long until AFTER the TV was mounted!

It was too late to go out and buy one, so I ordered it from Amazon. I had heard all the hype about cheap cables so originally I ordered a Sony at $50+. I had it delivered to work and when my co-worker saw the cable, and asked me how much I paid, he laughed hysterically.

After trying to argue about cheap cables, he told me he had bought this cable from Amazon and it was a fantastic cable. Since he had higher end video than I do, he convinced me to return the Sony and order this Mediabridge cable.

I am SOOOOOO glad I listened to him!!!!

This cable was 1/3 the price of the Sony. When I opened the package I was REALLY impressed at the way it looked. It has this rugged black mesh shielding that makes it look as if you could hang a boat from it! {DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!} The ends are gold plated and the look of quality oozes from the cable.

When I plugged it in and fired up the DVD player I immediately noticed a difference from the old 3' cable I had bought locally for $35!

I cannot believe I am actually writing a review about a freeking cable, but it has made a real impression on me and forever laid to rest the myth about inexpensive cables!!!!

BUY THIS CABLE!!!

I needed longer cables for everything when I purchased a new Yamaha receiver with HDMI switching. So I purchased 3 of these cables. The quality seems to be just fine but with one problem. Unlike other HDMI cables that I purchased before, these seem to pull slightly to the side and break the connection too easily.

First there is NO DIFFERENCE in picture if you use these, versus the $129 Monster cables. Spend the money on Blu-ray movies or PS3 games! I have one hooked to my 52" Bravia and the picture is perfect. If you are going more than 30' that might be another story, but don't worry you are "going too cheap" if you get these. Shipping was a couple of days longer than I had hoped, but the cables are great, nothing fancy but they work.

Lots of times when you buy a cheap cable it looks and feels cheap. Not the case here - the nylon sleeve adds a touch of profesionalism and allows it to slip through the wall a bit more easily.

Look at the reviews of other Mediabridge cables. So far I've bought 2 10's and a 6'. All 3 less than the price of 1 at the big box stores. Great picture quality, solid ends (that come with plastic caps so you don't get insulation/etc in the cable).

The cable gets the job done. You can't ask for a better/clear picture. Save your money and grab this cable!

These cables work as intended and are cheap and reliable. No problems at all. No need to pay too much for these cables.

I bought four of these for the installation of a new flat panel. They work *perfectly*, and are very well made. They're also a bargain, especially when compared to the insanely-overpriced cables for sale at the brick and mortar shops.

I also contacted the company to include a Mediabridge Premium Toslink Cable - 10ft - Optical Digital Audio Cable (also on Amazon) in the same shipment, and they bent over backwards to help (wickedly fast response to e-mail and phone). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I needed 3 more HDMI cables so I wanted to buy from Cables 2 Go. For some reason I could only order 2. I needed and wanted 3, so I looked around the site, read the reviews and settled on Mediabridge. I purchased the 120Hz, nylon sleeve 10Ft version. What shipped was 3 of the 6Ft. I am using 1 and will return the other 2 for THE TEN FOOT VARIETY which is what I wanted and ordered. All in all, cable works great, excellent picture, overmold on the connector is top notch and cable build is flawless.

For fun, I went to Best Buy last week to kill some time. As I was looking around a salesperson came up and asked did I need help, what kind of HDTV did I have, etc. If you have a 120Hz refresh model, they will tell you that you have to buy Monsters' Ultra High Speed HDMI cable especially made for 120Hz. Retails for $149.95. Is this a profit center item or what? Said no thanks, I can pick one up on Amazon for $10-13 and it works just fine. I was told the "cheaper" cable will probably crap out on me in a couple of weeks. Guess we'll just have to see now won't we? Another good one at Best Buy is the Dynex brand HDMI cable, I think it is the "house brand". $35 for a 6Ft cable and the product and the package it comes in looks like it is produced in Mom and Pop Wong's room back of the kitchen. It looks strangely, almost exactly just like a cable you can buy on here for $ 1.29. Now just who is fooling who here? I feel pretty good "splurging" $14 for build quality and spending the rest of my hard earned money on a nice pizza. Forget about paying $70-150 on just 1 cable. Read the reviews here and do the smart thing, buy your cable and other wish list items here and save the trips to the big box stores for when you need to touch some knobs and dials.

Need to add this...After contacting Amazon, they contacted Mediabridge who then contacted me via e-mail. We talked on the phone and 3 10ft HDMI cables were shipped Priority Mail. Received them on New Years Eve. Joseph Casmicioni of Mediabridge went out of his way to personally pack and ship the product. He also stated that Mediabridge, as a gesture of good will, would let me keep the product already shipped, I wouldn't need to return the 3 6ft cables shipped in error. Truly an example of exemplary customer service taken to the next level. Thanks Joe!, thank you Mediabridge! After this shopping experience, I think it's pretty safe to say that this is a company worth your nickel and it looks like they're in business for the long haul.
