For less than 6$, the only criteria I had was that it should work. Connected my Subwoofer to my receiver (amp) using this cable and the sound(Bass) was amazing - Credit goes to Subwoofer :-).

The Orange color is a little too bright but hey I can at least know which wire to pull out for my subwoofer now! I think we should have different color wires for each item ( Ex: Red for Speakers etc.) so you would know which wire goes where esp if you setup is 4 years old and you don't have HDMI.

The cable is supposedly double shielded. The only way to find out is if there is any distortion and there is no sound distortion when these wires were connected. I am not going to cut the wires to verify if it is double shielded!

So if you want a working cable cheap,this is as good as it gets. Thought of giving it 4 * but then it works and is less than 6$ so 5*'s.

This cable does a great job of connecting my Phillips MX3950 DVDVideo Surround System to the TOSLink adapter required to connect it to the TOSLink output of my SEPTRE 46" HDTV. Audio from the TV sounds great for Movies.

nuff said! it's 6 feet long, and works just fine. no reason not to get it at this price.

I bought this for two reasons.

1st: as a sub-woofer cable. works great

2nd: as a vhs video and audio cables. works great for both.

product does what I need it for, it is cheap and I am happy.

I liked this particular cable because it was clearly an orange color, and didn't get mixed in with other black RCA audio/ HDMI cables I have hooked to my receiver. My sound system did not miss a beat with this cable which came at a bargain price.

Received the 2 cables that I ordered very fast. Quality is good, sound is good, always a happy shopper on amazon

Needed a coaxial audio cable to connect DVR to A/V Receiver for Dolby Sound and didn't want to spend a fortune for cables... Cable was right length, came quickly, plugged up and worked beautifully from the get-go... I bought two, so time to connect the Blu-Ray to the A/V... You could spend more, if that's your goal, but these have been just fine and produce clear crisp sound without the hype.

the mediabridge ultra cable is amazingly strong and durable. it's twice as thick as the cables they give out free with your electronics. i bought a jbl es250 subwoofer and it came with these crappy cheap looking cables. you really need to upgrade your "free" cables to this one. although it's not "monster cables", it's a great alternative. imho...monster is just a name...a very expensive name. the construction of these cables are solid. the gold tips on them looks very sturdy. they have a "pro" look to them.

I have a moderately priced 7 channel surround sound system. JBL speakers and a Pioneer Elite receiver. I listen and I mean LISTEN to more music that watch DVD's. Anyone can play music, but the true joy is to listen to the beauty of "surround sound" music. I never thought that a small, inexpensive cable could deliver ultra clean sounds that I've never heard. This is my first and probably last review of ANY product, but if you love music as I do, don't pass up using this digital product for connections.

Well what can I about this cable other than it arrived on time, well packaged,does what its supposed to do and it looks and feels very sturdy. I bought it along with a optical cable(also by mediabridge) and an optical to coaxial converter to connect my pc to my receiver cause my ps3 and my xbox 360 are using the other optical inputs.
