Setup was easy with only one glitch, but that was my fault for not clicking the APPLY button. All in all, for a person with only moderate computer knowledge, it went well. The router does exactly what my in-laws (the users), needed. If my current router craters, I will replace it with one of these.

I found this pretty easy to set up. I have Verizon broadband and the wireless router they gave us is a little weak. This was very easy to set up ( I used the quick guide, not the CD). I'm certainly no techie either.
So far it is working fine.

I bought two of these routers. one for my dad and one for me. Both work perfectly.
Set up was simple. Had a bit of an issue setting up the password on mine, for some reason it would not work.
But after a few try's it was accepted. Both my dad's router and mine have great range and we get 5 bars throughout the house.
I just love how this thing looks, sleek, black and small. You really cant beat this little router for the price.

Simply put I started researching which router to buy and spent some time doing it. After I decided on a Medialink device I plugged it in and it works just fine and with no complaints. Easy

I bought this because I wasn't getting wifi on certain devices while others in my house worked fine. Set up was simple, just plug everything from the old router in to the new one, no software installation or anything. Finally have fast wifi on every device in my house with no conflicts.

My router went out one afternoon at 2PM. I needed something fast since I live 20 miles south of the boondocks and the nearest store to me is 90 minutes away. First factor to purchase Amazon Prime, second factor price, third factor reviews.

This is a nice router, I'm not a techie so internal antenna vs external doesn't mean anything except something less for my cat to chew on.

It was easy to set up, I had one issue that wasn't covered and email support got back to me quickly and solved my problem.

I would buy from this seller again in a heartbeat.

Fast forward 7 months, we're trying to hook up a dvr to our system. Email these folks for some customer support and they get right back to us. We tried contacting the people we got the dvr from and they weren't 1/10th as helpful as these people.

Do not hesitate to buy from these folks.

Hooked up effortlessly and quickly. Signal strength is excellent, but I am in a small apartment. Even though there was no need, the user interface was easy to navigate and configure. The blue oscillating lights are cool to look at, but may be too bright if you want create a dark environment.

Just purchased the Medialink Wireless N Broadband Router from Amazon because my previous router would not give me the speed and range I needed. So I just received the Medialink router and had it set up in no time. However, since I have a new iMac system I had to contact Medialink by phone for tech assistance. They were curtious, professional, and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and walking me through setup. Very good router and great folks to work with. I now have about twice the range of my previous router and more speed. The Amazon price of $49.95 was really a bargain too!!!

It was so easy to install that I actually thought to myself looking at the screen "this can't be right". Great coverage in our two story home. Advance email from Mediabridge Products with contact info if I needed help installing (but I didn't). So far LOVE it.

Disclaimer: While not a technological Neanderthal, I'm a n00b when it comes to WiFi.

Here's the story: router arrives. Step-by-step instructions are followed to the letter. Wireless love ensues.

Two weeks later: decide to clean up Flying Spaghetti Monster-esque tangle of cables in/around/on media center. Unplug things; replug things. Internet suddenly painfully slow.

Another two weeks of back-and-forth with Medialink: router sent back to them, new router sent out. Invasive and non-intuitive tweaking of router settings.

Current status: using wired only, a little too traumatized by a month of sometimes nonexistent internet to risk WiFi. Utterly paranoid about moving tech around again or even unplugging router and modem. (Disclaimer #2: Yes. I'm ridiculous. I fully acknowledge this.)

Moral of the story: This is probably a router better suited for someone who is wifi/router savvy. Playing around with opening ports is one thing; not getting a logical explanation for why unplugging things would make internal firewall contained within router go nuts is unsettling. Medialink, for their part, were a little slow to reply, but extremely patient and concerned about getting me set up and working. Points to them.
