This album is a sleeper. Median is a very underrated artist and the production is some of the best I've heard. Simile is still one of my favorite songs of 08.
If you like smooth beats and rhymes with substance, cop this album. you can tell Median put time into the order and flow of the songs... they all have meaning and aren't just a bunch of random verses about nothing.

This, Below the Heavens and Scenic Route are probably my 3 favorite hiphop albums of 2008.

I have heard Talib's "Ear Drum", Kanye's "Graduation". and Common's "Finding Forever", and in my opinion, Median's "Relief" is superior to all of them. It has the best beats, lyrics, flow, and hooks. It is a very consistent album that does not disappoint.

This was one of my favorite albums of 2007. Many times the Justus League members aren't able to pull together a whole album by themselves but Median definitely did his thing. Good lyrics and awesome production really brought this whole album together for me.

PEOPLE ARE REALLY SLEEPING ON THIS WONDERFUL BREATH OF WORDS COMING FROM SOMEBODY OUT OF NOWHERE! THAT GOES TO SHOW YOU HOW BIG THIS WORLD ACTUALLY IS! MOST PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW HIP HOP CONCENTRATE ON THE RADIO WHICH IS GEARED TOWARDS "SNAPPING OR DYING" VERSUS "ACTUALLY TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE SOME TIGHT LYRICS DOWN AND CHALLENGING THEMSELVES" YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? THIS GUY IS DEFINITELY IN MY TOP FIVE!

Not as good as I wanted it to be ... really like the joints 'How Big Is Your World', 'Powershift' & 'Simile'. There are quite a few BANGERS on here... could have trimed some fat off... worth the money for sure tho.

Remember the days when hiphop music had a message and was described as story telling over dope beats. Remember A Tribe Called Quest, Souls Of Mischief, The Pharcyde or Black Moon? Well, after enjoying the Little Brother debut "The Listening" back in 2003 and loving those dope beats coming from top notch procucer 9th Wonder I had to check out this young talent Median.

He has this unique ability to flow real nicely over awesome beats. The last time I had this feeling was when I listented to Lupe Fiasco's debut back in 06.

Please support real talents like Median and show respect to HipHop. Definetaley one of the best Cds of thes genre this year, right next to Kanye West and Common.

This album is legit...

Every artist, from country to heavy metal to Hip Hop worries about the sophomore jinx. Some start strong and fall flat, while others knock the all important second offering out of the box. Median falls in the latter category. The Justus League representative is back with Median's Relief, an honest and soulful 16 track opus on life and love, which picks up where the first EP, Median's Path to Relief left off.

Very solid LP, from Justus League member, Median. It's a very good album, with my stand-out songs, "Collage", "Personified", and "Brenda's Baby". And some folks are right, this dude is being heavily slept on right now. You will definitely get your money's worth purchasing this LP. Median's Relief is relief indeed. His songs are vivid, nostalgic and almost inspiring. Go out and support it.

Its sad when hip hop albums like this are slept on. Median is a tight mc with great lyrics and style. If you want a solid album with not one bad track on it....this is your album right here...no need to look any further...one love J...

Never heard of this guy before but after listening to his album "Median's Relief" my conclusion is that he's dope! The tracks are produced nicely and I'm glad the cursing is kept to a minimum. All tracks I can listen too without skipping except for one with a featured m.c.. Not too many m.c.'s have the creative raw flow without feeling the need to f-bomb all over the place just ruining tracks. Median is nice on this album whitty and cleaver with his delivery. Just buy this album! My top 5 Hip Hop albums of 2007.
