Excellent book. I disagree with the previous person who wrote a negative review because he is looking for something else in this book. This book serves as an introduction to Medical malpractice, not a step by step guide to handle a malpractice law suite. Not Really What I Was Looking For
I was very disappointed with Medical Malpractice: Understanding the Law. The book was more intent on preaching about malpractice reform than on explaining steps we can take to limit the chances we get sued for medical malpractice. I must say that I found another book--entitled PHYSICIAN, PROTECT THYSELF--a much better reference regarding the prevention of...

Excellent book. I disagree with the previous person who wrote a negative review because he is looking for something else in this book. This book serves as an introduction to Medical malpractice, not a step by step guide to handle a malpractice law suite. I recommand this book to all medical students as well as anyone who plans to enter the medical field.

I was very disappointed with Medical Malpractice: Understanding the Law.
The book was more intent on preaching about malpractice reform than on explaining steps we can take to limit the chances we get sued for medical malpractice. I must say that I found another book--entitled PHYSICIAN, PROTECT THYSELF--a much better reference regarding the prevention of malpracice lawsuits. I just purchased another copy and sent it along with my daughter to medical school. We need more resources out there to guide us through the ins and outs of a world we never really want to enter but are forced to live in. |
