Needed the refresher...
Love the examples in this book. They are very "real world" and usefull. I used it to refresh my math skills.

A Book
Though this is a good book, I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't required by the class I am taking. It doesn't really explain much, and I assume that is because they assume it is just a refresher.

Step-by-step instructions for calculating dosages, concentrations and more have been revised to include more details on the calculations, expanding chapters with new drawings and offering all the basics in new sections, as well. No practicing vet's library should be without it.

I had high hopes for this book. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The book contained no answer key to check to see if I grasped the concepts in each chapter. There was no way to check my work. I wish I had not spent the money on this book.
