I have used this text in conjunction with my undergraduate course in Parasitology for four years. My students love the book. They report that it is easy to follow and well organized. The photographs are excellent, but for a class, a good atlas of parasitology is still needed in conjunction with this book. Because of their expense, we have one printed atlas for the room, and we access an online atlas for additional images and information.

This book is great. Its easy to read and has a lot of great pictures. It has a ton of information but it is very easy to understand. A must for any parasitology class.

I thought this book was organized well and easy to follow. My class did many of the exercises and case studies in the book. I found them to not always be reflective of the information covered in that section or to be slightly beyond the scope of what was covered. However, that could be an indictment of my professor or class format rather than the book itself.
