I represent a Medical Spanish Training company (Common Ground International) & this is the pocket dictionary that we suggest to our RN's, MD's, PA's, etc. There are more exhaustive medical Spanish dictionaries, but this is certainly the most convenient and practical pocket option available to healthcare workers. The initial pages provide high frequency phrases categorized by theme, then a series of bilingually labeled images of the body systems, followed by the actual dictionary sections. It's a good resource for basic medical terminology - and an overall great value. You certainly won't regret having this pocket dictionary with you as you work with Spanish only patients!

This is a great little book. I have a student from Peru and this has helped me in many ways to assist my student with the right word.
