I purchased this book for an online class I was taking for VCC, and it ended up being the same exact book being sold at the bookstore at school and it came with the access code included. the book is actually a bluish cover the picture is not what you get, but it was the right book.

This book is just what I needed. Written in plain English in order to understand the meaning of the overwhelming amount of terms in the Medical language. The Access Code for the online Modules pair perfectly with the book. There is so much information between the two I haven't even gotten to the book's CD yet.

As my fourth medical related textbook, this one has very clear definitions, enjoyable activities that really help solidify the material. Also, it has great study suggestions. Highly recommended

This text has clear diagrams, assignments and web tutorials. The repetitive nature of this workbook helps to learn medical terminology with little pain. The web tutorial also offers games and a pronunciation guide that is useful as some of these words are quite the mouthful!

This book at first seems general but after careful inspection it is more complicated. The lay out of the book is okay but the way it presents diseases seems abstract. Unless this book is required for a class I do not recommend it for general knowledge. The pictures make the diseases more understandable. Some of the definitions aren't defined anywhere! There should be a better answer key.

I have ordered from amazon for years and this is the first time I have been jerked around and fooled. Prime fulfillment Ripped me off. I ordered medical terminology online for the language of medicine (user guide, access code and textbook package). I received it and it was nothing like there description. The book was in horrible condition, It came with NO user Guide, or Access Code (which costs $51 online). I have contacted these guys several times and they have not given me my refund. Its been more than 4 weeks and no refund. Don't waste your time like I did. Save yourself the hassle. Buy from another dealer!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

I don't know how this product is, because I returned the product before usage almost a month ago. Also it didn't include all items that should have accompanied the product. I have yet to hear about my refund.
