I have learned so much from this book and CD! It's a great tool for learning medical terminology (and believe me, some of the words are VERY long and hard to say!). The book is filled with pictures, tables, activities, and diagrams. It makes learning medical terminology easier!

Easy to use and follow, Medical Terminology Systems: A Body Systems Approach has thousands of terms: Prefixes, suffixes, roots, abbreviations, medical, surgical, diagnostic, and pathological terms. The audio CD included helps you pronunce the words correctly. A great book for any medical professional and healthcare student! Recommended!

I wish that I'd had this book earlier. I have taken Medical Billing and Coding and used a medical term book to prepare. It was ho-hum. Now I am getting ready to go into a nursing program and this book is awesome. I especially appreciate how it links the terms with actual visual presentations of anatomy. It also discusses symptoms and gives you practice reading physician reports. The computer CD-Rom has reviews, quizzes and puzzles that help to sharpen your skills. It even has an audio CD that gives the correct pronunciation of the terms. My daughter's nursing teacher recommended this book. How glad I am that she did!

A great book to learn medical terminology because it incorporates anatomy and physiology with relevant terms. This book does a nice job of introducing building blocks of terms in a way that gives them meaning.

I was very pleased with my purchase and how fast I received it. This book was also very informational and helpful for my mdical terminology class.

I have this to be an excellent study book, it has great graphics with detailed information yet ti is easy to follow. I feel certain as my current studies continue this will be one of the books I will reference
regular basis. To date I have been pleased with my puechase and with Amazon's ability to get my orders to me in a timely manner.

I was glad I choose to purchase this text book new because it is a workbook as well and a text so having the chapter reviews and summaries blank is helpful.

I received this product with the CD's, all in tact nicely, but there were answers written in almost every quiz in every chapter. This hinders my learning and creates a lot of effort having to erase half the pages in the book so that I can learn and do the homework myself. Also seeing as I have to copy the pages, do the homework and hand them in. It's a major pain every homework session. Not pleased.

Exactly what was ordered and deliverd on time ,,,,,,,#1 in my book ordered from another vender and they didn't get it right

The product was amazing. It was just as described and was received extremely quickly. The book will definitely be helpful this semester as I take my medical terminology course, especially since the book comes with other resources to help you not only memorize but also truly learn!

The product contains a book with inclusive workbook pages at the end of each chapter. The workbook pages were already torn out when I received the book so I was unable to use it for my class and had to cancel my class because I couldn't get another one in time. The company was willing to exchange the item, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars but I'm too busy to go buy supplies to send it and go to the post office since I work full time and go to school. They did not offer to send a prepaid UPS pickup, or give my money back so I'm only giving them three stars.
