I've long suffered with chronic pain and have tried numerous products, medications, alternative therapies, etc. I did not expect to find so much relief with this product. WOW, highly recommend!! I cannot even describe what a great help it has been to me. Excellent.You can cut into strips to fit whatever part of the body affected. I have used on my face/jaw for muscle pain when clenching at night. Also great for shoulders and back. The material is very sticky though ... do be aware when peeling off ... careful. No complaints though and I will definitely be reordering. Applause! I can begin a day with no pain!

This medicated tape does wonders to relieve the pain of plantar fasciitis in my foot. The tin contains a huge roll (157 inches) of tape that's about 4 inches wide, enough for several months of using it 3 or 4 times a week on my heel. The tape is heavy cloth on one side and the other side has a layer of brown sticky medication that melts somewhat to stay attached to the skin. After applying to the skin, the cloth side is smooth and not sticky, so you can easily wear it under your clothes.I usually cut off 2 pieces about 1x5 inches each and wrap the bottom of the afflicted heel and put a sock on it before bed. I recommend the sock, lest the tape peel off during the night, as it is not quite as sticky as a bandaid. The next morning the ingredients have soaked into the heel and there is none of the typical morning PF pain when first getting out of bed. A small downside is the bottom of my foot will get a faint yellowish stain left by the ingredients, but that washes off in the shower. At the end of a day of too much walking, when that foot feels like I'm walking on broken glass, I apply the the 701 tape and then wrap the foot in a heating pad on low setting for about an hour while watching tv to relieve the achiness right away, then leave the tape on all night while sleeping. Next morning, good as new. I have not observed any ill effects of using heat with that small amount of tape nor any side effects or rashes from using it overnight. The label on the tin has a list of inactive herbal ingredients such as skullcap, chinese rubarb, and bushy knotweed, but I am convinced they are part of the reason this tape works better than simple chinese red flower oil, which has only the three ingredients listed as active on the label (camphor, menthol and methyl salicylate, also known as wintergreen oil). I've tried several variants of the camphor-turpentine-menthol-wintergreen oil linaments and they just don't work as well as this tape does. I recommend this as one of the hidden gems of Chinese patent medicine to get the blood flowing in an old, cold, chronic pain.

This is by far the best medicated plaster I have personally used. I recommend this for pains that are hot and swollen.
