This is great if you're studying medicinal herbs, it helps to "get up close" to plants that probably don't grow in your area. We really like pretty much all Dover products, and this was no exception.

I love this coloring book! Each page has the name of the plant (both common and Latin) and the medicinal uses of the plant. The cover has colored versions of each plant. Plants covered in this book:
Aconite, Aloe vera, Arnica, Balm-of-Gilead, Belladonna, Hedge Bindweed, Boneset, Great Burdock, Castor Bean, Chamomile, Chicory, Coca, Comfrey, Cornflower, Dandelion, Dayflower, Elecampne, Evening Primrose, Foxglove, Yellow Gentian, American Ginseng, Jewelweed, Jimson Weed, Joshua Tree, Lavender, Lily-of-the-Valley, Lobelia, Mandrake, Marigold, Marijuana, Mayapple, Opium Poppy, Passionflower, Pomegranate, Quinine, Wild Rose, Meadow Saffron, Squill, Strychnine Tree, Tamarind, Milk Thistle, Stemless Thistle, Valerian, and Wild Yam.

This book is great. A wonderful start to research projects for kids, relaxation time or just for fun!!!
