The book is arranged scientifically on Algae,ferns, gymnosperms and flowering plants,and subsequently alphbetically under plant family. Each species entry has a short plant description, parts used and uses, more significant plants have additional information on Chemistry & Pharmacology and major species have literature references.
This gives an up to date (1993) analysis of Indochinese medicinal plants with indexes to Vietnames, Cambodian, Laotian and botanical names. Further there is an index to the plants according to Pharmacological activity. There is an extensive bibliography. A comprehensive and good base reference for medicinal plants from the region |
