This book offers a view of medicine from every era. From the ancients to modern day, the pictures are illuminating. Although a picture is worth a 1000 words, the narration through the book is also very educational. One of the best books of its kind!

One of the best books I have seen on the history of medicine! Beautifully written and well illustrated! Due to taking a class on the history of medicine in college, I have been fascinated regarding the different events which have occurred throughout history, this book covers most of the great advancements and historical ideas. Highly recommend as a gift or for personal use.
